Thank you Kristen! I thought a lot about whether to ground this piece in my own current activism (re:the U.S. role in Gaza) and while I obviously landed on deciding to do so, the risk there of course was that the broader message (about how we keep going in our steadfast but often hopeless feeling activist efforts) might not still feel relevant for folks who are in a different place re: Gaza right now. Thanks for letting me know that the offering landed the way I hoped (because goodness! anything I can do to help you sustain your energy re: gun violence activism, I'm all in!!!).
